Peppermint Mocha Lip Scrub

There are so many wonderful things about the winter season. The first snow always looks so beautiful and magical. All the holiday lights and decorations never fail to make my heart feel warm. Being snuggled under a nice blanket with a hot peppermint mocha and good book while it’s beyond cold outside. And then there’s dry, chapped winter lips.

If it isn’t obvious I really love peppermint mocha. It’s easily my favorite seasonal flavor/scent. There’s just something about peppermint, chocolate and coffee coming together that is so irresistible to me. And this lip scrub smells just like a delicious mug of peppermint mocha.

When I make this scrub I like to melt my cocoa butter on the stove. All I do is use the double boiler method with a saucepan as the bottom and a Pyrex measuring cup as the top. However it doesn’t need to be done this way! It could also be melted in the microwave! Do what works for you!

The raw honey is a totally optional but luxurious ingredient. It just adds even more exfoliating and moisturizing properties! On top of this lip scrub being a great step to add to your beauty + self care routine, it makes for an adorable and affordable gift! One batch could be made and gifted in a lovely jar to one recipient or divided into several portions to be used as stocking stuffers!
