These Stuffed Crescent Rolls are absolutely delicious. And if you’re looking for a way to make a special someone swoon this Valentine’s Day, this is the recipe for you!
Even if you’re not trying to impress someone this is a great recipe to make! It’s easy and fun so kids can easily get involved. Or it’s a great group activity if you’re having girls night! Just put on some music and pour a glass of something good and you’ll be good to go!
Ingredients + Tools:
- 2 8 count butter flake crescent rolls
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese brick
- 4 tablespoons jam
- Pinch of lemon zest
- Juice of half a lemon
- 5 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Hand mixer or immersion blender
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. In a medium sized mixing bowl add cream cheese, jam, lemon zest and 2 tablespoons powdered sugar. If you’re doing two flavors like I did split the ingredients in half and add to 2 small mixing bowls.
- Using hand mixer or immersion blender mix the ingredients until everything is well incorporated and smooth.
- Roll out and separate your crescent rolls. Spoon and spread out filling on crescent rolls and then roll them up.
- Spray nonstick spray onto baking sheet. Place rolls onto baking sheet and bake for 10-11 minutes or until golden brown. Let rest on baking sheet for a few minutes then transfer to cooling rack.
- In a small bowl add lemon juice and remaining powdered sugar. Whisk until smooth.
- Once cool, drizzle lemon glaze over the crescent rolls and serve!
- Enjoy!
Notes:
- For this recipe my favorite jam to use is raspberry!
- Using lemon glaze is totally an optional step! Delicious but optional.
- This is the brand that my immersion blender is from, I love it!
