Use on properly prepared new wood

Remove any wax, lacquer, shellac, or paint completely from old surfaces before finishing

Do not use steel wool

Follow can instructions

If staining, apply a good quality oil-based or water-based stain

Apply with a clean synthetic fiber or foam brush, lamb's wool applicator or pad

Do not apply with a roller

Follow all directions on the label especially when applying to floors

Allow 24 hours to dry
