A warm reddish-brown from six organic herbs — and one of three shades we make where henna comes first on the ingredient list.
Day one will look wrong. After a green cast at the rinse, this shade goes warm and orange for a day before the brown depth arrives. It settles into mahogany over days two and three. Don't judge it on the first evening.

Experience the richness of Mahogany and let your hair shine with , pure, botanical color.
Mahogany is a deep, reddish-brown shade inspired by the richness of polished wood. This versatile color blends warm red and brown tones to create a vibrant yet refined finish.
Unlike cooler red-violet shades, Mahogany a warmer red-orange reflection that appears brighter and more dimensional. It enhances your natural beauty without being overly dramatic, making it i for those who want a noticeable yet sophisticated ation.
This timeless hue adds depth and warmth to your hair, complementing both cool and warm skin tones throughout every season.
Though both shades feature red undertones, they differ subtly in tone and intensity:
Mahogany: A warmer red-brown shade with a red-orange reflection. It appears brighter and more brown-toned.
Burgundy: A deeper red-violet shade with cooler undertones and greater intensity.
Mahogany is for those seeking warmth and vibrancy, while Burgundy cooler depth and drama.
Light Skin Tone: Adds warmth and gentle contrast
Medium Skin Tone: Enhances natural glow with red-brown depth
Dark Skin Tone: Creates rich highlights with luminous warmth
Mahogany adapts beautifully to different undertones, ing a balanced and flattering finish.
These two share the same six herbs in the same order on the label — henna first, indigo second, amla third. The difference is in the proportions, which we don't publish — held by one person at our production facility in India.
Mahogany carries more brown depth; Auburn Red runs more copper. If you want the redder of the two,
Depending on the length of the hair, portion hair powder in the following amount:
Conventional dye lifts your own pigment out and puts synthetic pigment in its place — and a reddish-brown needs lifting first if your hair is darker than the target. This one doesn't lift anything. Lawsone bonds to keratin in the outer layers, so the cuticle stays shut and there is no damage to repair afterwards.
The trade is straightforward: it costs you the option of going lighter, and saves you everything that comes with it.
Do not blow-dry. Not while the paste is on, and not for the first 24 hours after rinsing. Dry the paste and nothing transfers; dry the hair afterwards and the colour stalls partway. Shower cap while it processes, air-dry after.
What sets Radico apart from other hair color brands is our commitment to organic and natural ingredients. We are proud to be the first company in the world to receive organic certification for our hair colors, ensuring that our products are from chemicals and additives.
