The extra-wide brim sun hat is woven, like a basket, with dried palm tree leaves. Then it is shaped with the same antique hat mold we use to shape our . 

This super wide-brimmed hat will glamorously shield you from the sun. The Geranium is woven with wider pieces of palm leaf . The Daisy is woven with finer pieces of palm leaf. The fit is the same though!

Crown Circumference: 23.5 inches (when measured on the outside of the hat). There is an interior elastic band with a circumference that is about 22 inches, with slight variability due to the fact that these are handmade.

This hat ships with a long chocolate brown grosgrain ribbon. 

NATURAL MATERIAL: This hat is woven with palm tree leaves, so there is natural color differentiation within the weave. 

RIBBON SELECTION: "Wide" grosgrain ribbons are 3 inches in width; heat cut at approximately 45 inches, and are designed to tie short behind the back of the head. "Long" grosgrain ribbons are heat cut at approximately 60-75 inches long (kids ribbons are shorter than adults).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: If your hat is in need of reshaping, use a household steamer to mold the brim and crown into your desired shape. Store your hat in its packaging or gently stuff its interior with colorless tissue paper.
