A red you can try without committing. Six organic herbs, and only two of them carry colour — colourless henna leads the ingredient list, which is what makes this a soft strawberry-gold rather than a deep auburn.

This is the most limited shade in the red range. Diluting a red means it needs an even lighter base than Auburn Red does — on medium brown hair it barely registers, and on anything darker it won't show. Plant pigment adds and lifts.

What " organic" means here

Not 99%, not 99.9% — every herb in the pouch is organic, and there is no base powder or carrier underneath them. Each shade is vacuum-sealed to slow oxidation before you open it, and shipped by air from our production facility in India so newer stock reaches you.

Radiant Warmth in a Reddish Blonde Glow

Reddish Blonde sits between blonde and red — a soft strawberry tone with light golden depth. Indoors it reads as a warm blonde with the red sitting quietly underneath; daylight and the strawberry surfaces.

Because plant pigment layers over the colour you already have instead of replacing it, your own variation stays underneath. That is why it shifts between rooms rather than returning one flat tone.

Same red as Auburn Red, one step back

Put the two ingredient lists side by side and the difference is one name. Auburn Red opens with henna — the only shade we make that does. Reddish Blonde opens with colourless henna, a herb that barely tints, and henna comes second.

That is the whole design: not less henna doing less work, but a herb that doesn't dye taking up the space a pigment would otherwise fill. Want the red without the dilution?

How it differs from chemical colour

The reason most people try red isn't the colour — it's that a chemical red is hard to undo. The pigment goes in through a cuticle that has to be opened first, and getting back out means another treatment: a colour remover, a darker shade over the top, or bleach.

Nothing is lifted to put this colour there. Lawsone bonds to keratin in the outer layers, so your own colour stays underneath, untouched. It wears down gradually as the outer layers wear — no border to manage, and nothing to strip if you stop.

What to expect

• Right after rinsing — a soft warm glow, and almost no green cast. There is so little indigo that what you see is close to what you keep.
• First day or two — the henna deepens slightly as it meets air. The shift is small.
• Where it lands — a warm strawberry-gold that reads as sunlit rather than dyed.

Still don't blow-dry. There is only a little indigo here, but the colour is still developing after you rinse and that reaction needs moisture. Shower cap while it processes, air-dry after — no heat for the first 24 hours.

And reversible doesn't mean temporary. Henna's pigment is bonded to the keratin, so it wears down over weeks rather than washing out in a few shampoos. If you decide it isn't for you, the answer is time.

There is no version of these photos on medium brown or darker hair. Within light hair, depth still shifts with your starting colour, grey percentage, porosity and processing time.
